FAQ

FAQ's.

Are the pieces in the pictures the actual ones that we buy?

Yes, nearly always. The exceptions are the baubles and Crunch and occasional others.

Do you giftwrap?

No, I am afraid we don't. All the pieces come wrapped in black tissue paper and bubble wrap. They are then boxed with a leaflet explaining about us and what we do.

Do you do gift tokens

Yes. You can buy a gift token from £10.00 upwards. We can send these to an address of your choice or straight to you. http://shakspeareglass.co.uk/Gift-Vouchers/

Who actually makes it?

All the glass is blown at Shakspeare Glass by Will and his assistants. From concept to production, it’s all Will’s work.

Is he really called Will?

Actually his name is Richard but he’s been called Will for so long now he’s stuck with it!

Can I order through the website?

Yes, lots of people do. The website tries to represent the pieces as accurately as possible so you can be confident of ordering from home.

What happens if I don’t like what I’ve ordered?

Let us know within 48 hours and return the piece within 14 days. We’ll refund the full price (but not the postage).

And broken?

Again, let us know within 48 hours and send it back within 14 days and we’ll send you a replacement or a refund. This however happens very rarely as we have been sending glass all over the country for many years.

Do you take special orders?

Very happy to do so if feasible. So if you want to give something really unique (or just want to treat yourself!) please let us know and we’ll suggest some ideas.

Can I try glassblowing?

Sure. Will runs regular courses at the workshop, have a look at the teaching page or click here

How can I keep in touch?

As you may have seen, we have a News page on this website and we also have Facebook and Twitter accounts, both of which give a more behind the scenes view and let you send us your ideas and opinions. We also send out occasional e letters telling you about upcoming events. If you’d like to get these please let Kate know via kate@shakspeareglass.co.uk
