A whole day of one to one tuition with Will Shakspeare. This is an intensive and hands on class and you will be making each piece yourself. One person per day.

Our Master Class is designed to be more flexible than our other classes. It can be tailored to complete beginners or to someone who has already had some tuition and would like to learn more.
Each student is personally supervised and guided through the processes from start to finish by Will. Will has a wealth of teaching experience and has been filmed for television and featured in the press many times. He will talk about his work, his influences and glass making during the course of the day.

This class is for tuition and experiences only. If you have a particular requirement please talk to us.

Please note that if you have any health issues or hearing impediment of any kind you must speak to us before booking. This will be a very physically and mentally demanding day and a good level of fitness will be needed. We do reserve the right to not teach you if we feel it is unsafe to do so. Students must be 18 years of age or over. There will be an hour lunch break.

Terms & Conditions
To guarantee a place we take advance payment. You can buy a voucher, pay over the phone with a credit card, pop in and see us or send a cheque. Once a date is booked payment is non refundable. If you need to change the date, for whatever reason, we will do our best to accommodate you.
We reserve the right to cancel classes due to unforeseen circumstances and will try and give as much notice as possible if this arises. In the event of cancellation we will offer an alternative date or full refund. Shakspeare Glass cannot accept liability for consequential loss, such as travel or accommodation, in these circumstances.
At the risk of stating the obvious, glass blowing is physically demanding. If you struggle to do any physical exercise, can't run up the stairs or bend, crouch and stand up easily, then this is probably not for you. It can be dangerous for me, you and your fellow participants if you can not control the blowing irons easily and for the whole duration of your 'go's'. If you have a disability or medical condition which affects you in any way, please discuss this with us before you book. If you have a hearing impediment be advised that the workshop has a high level of background noise which can make it very difficult to hear any instructions, and so making the session potentially dangerous for yourself, the other participants and me!. Unfortunately, if you wear a hearing aid we would advise you that glass blowing is not a good idea. We do reserve the right, on the evening or day, to not allow you to take part in the session if we feel, in view of health and safety, that you are not going to be safe. We have had to turn a couple of people away in the past as they had not made us aware of their situation in advance. You will be given a short talk about safety before you start the lesson and you will be expected to follow these instructions at all times.
Participants must be 18 years of age and above.
