Winter

Inspired by the landscape of the Somerset Levels, the magical and atmospheric wetlands. In the morning, mist drifting off the rhynes, the dusk with a dimpsey sky, or a beautiful crisp spring morning with the early sunlight glinting on the water, the Levels are always an inspiration. This particular range is based on the hedgerows, laden with berries in the first winter frosts, along the disused railway line between Langport and Muchelney. I am always especially excited to see dark coloured soil to contrats with the colours - the ground's equivalent of dimpsey skies!
