Remembrance Glass

We offer a special glass service, where a loved one's ashes can be encapsulated inside a piece of glass as a creative and beautiful way of remembering someone. 

 

To make these pieces, our glassblowers carefully add a small amount of ash to the molten glass before adding glass colour and then shaping the piece. This results in a unique piece where the ashes are visible below the glass. These pieces are invariably extremely beautiful and are really easy to lose yourself in. We can make paperweights in the beautiful blues and aquas of the sea, pinks, purples, greens for example.
Paperweights are priced from £140 for medium, 8-9 cm, and from £180 for large [10-11cm]. We can also make very large paperweights of up to 15cm approximately and they are £275.
Small bowls and vases can be made in a small range of shapes and colours and prices are from £145.00.

As well as incorporating ashes within the glass itself, we also make hollow baubles and paperweights with the ash sealed inside. Please note that the baubles are very heavy as they have to have a separate top made and sealed in place. They can be hung, but only on a good support such as on a curtain pole or hook. A range of colours are available. Prices from £100.

We prefer to work with our clients on an individual basis with these pieces rather than having an online ordering service. To commission please contact us. Please allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. Small order pieces are sent by special delivery and are tracked and signed for. Larger orders are sent by courier. Alternatively orders can be collected.
