I have always liked bottles as a form. I recently found an old "codd" bottle with the marble still intact in the loft amongst my collection of dug up bottles.

They are though in reality pretty pointless! We dont need bottles with ground in stoppers to keep oil or cider fresh, we have corks and screw tops. But there is though something still satisfying about a well ground in stopper. I am not suggesting you try this, but you should be able to pick a bottle up by its stopper- if it has been well ground in.

Especially please don't try it on my MM bottles. They are super heavy.
