Hedgerow Small Vase 972

Our Hedgerow range is a spin off from the Somerset range. They're inspired by the Somerset Levels and- funnily enough- hedges, in particular the kind with the small red berries (we don't know what they're called!) Hedgerows have become one of my favourite aspects of the landscape, we can easily walk by them without noticing their huge variety and diversity. I believe you can tell the age of any hedgerow by counting the number of different plants in a given stretch.

To make these pieces, we first roll the hot glass in green coloured powders, then green and brown glass canes with red glass frits for the red berries. Each piece is sandblasted after to give the matte finish.
